My absolute favorite holiday cookie is a homemade gingerbread cookie. There’s something so satisfying about them—I love eating them, dunking them into coffee or tea, and even decorating them. They are, hands down, the best cookie I could ever have. That bite of ginger in every bite, the hint of spiciness, and the whole experience make it special. I even enjoy experimenting with different recipes, using ingredients like molasses or sorghum to play with the flavors.

So when I saw David’s Tea’s Gingerbread Toffee, I knew I had to try it. Their teas are always spot-on, and this one is no exception. From the first sip, I was transported back to the taste of a perfectly spiced gingerbread cookie. It reminded me of how long it’s been since I had one! This tea does have a bit of caffeine, so it’s more suited for the morning, but it feels like such a wonderful treat—something I’d put out on a holiday cookie tray but secretly keep for myself since no one else in my family really loves gingerbread.

The added toffee flavor is a delightful bonus, giving the impression of a toffee cookie alongside the rich gingerbread taste. I’m savoring every moment of this tea and will definitely enjoy it while it lasts. I highly recommend picking some up while it’s still available. If it sells out, I’d suggest emailing David’s Tea to request they bring it back—or keeping your fingers crossed for its return next year.

For the best experience, I’d recommend adding a splash of milk. It softens the ginger flavor beautifully and makes the tea even more comforting. Overall, this is a highly recommended holiday treat you won’t want to miss!
